A
CONTEMPLATIVE SABBATICAL PROGRAM This 30 day Sabbatical Program is open to women and men religious, clergy and lay people of all denominations. The program is fashioned to enhance personal renewal in a contemplative spirit. Quiet and solitude are priorities supplemented by reflective input by experienced staff members and opportunities to enhance one's spiritual development and prayer. Some days, most afternoons and all evenings are personal time for reading, resting, exercising, praying, or exploring the area. Weekly Spiritual Direction is available. Come and participate in whatever appeals to you. The program is not built on establishing community but this might happen in the silence. You can make arrangements to come earlier for additional private time, if you desire. Perhaps the feature of St. Joseph Retreat Center that you will absolutely fall in love with is the beauty of its location, directly on the Atlantic Shore. God is waiting to be gracious to you. Cost: $3600; deposit (non-refundable, non-transferable and part of total cost): $400; the balance is due no later than January 17, 2012. Please inquire about the option to come earlier for additional Private Time (not included in Sabbatical stipend) if you want a slightly longer stay.
