Each
Day of Prayer is an opportunity to receive a little input, share
with and listen to God, relax and be renewed. The atmosphere is
one of reverent silence, including during lunch when soft background
music will be played. Cost: $45 unless otherwise indicated When rooms are available at the Retreat Center, you are welcome to stay overnight on the eve of your program for an extra $50/night (7:00 P.M. after dinner - approximately 9:30 A.M.). Call the Retreat Center for availability. September
8, 2008 This will be a reflective day on the meaning and practice of spiritual direction as well as various forms of prayer. If you have wondered about spiritual direction or want more information before engaging in it, this would be a wonderful day for you. It would also be helpful if you are already engaged in spiritual direction and want some more clarity as to how to best utilize the opportunity.

is an excellent opportunity to deepen one's awareness of essential
attitudes and behaviors pertaining to healthy ministerial relationships.

8, 2008 This day will include reflective input, ample time for personal prayer, a real, abbreviated session of spiritual direction to accentuate the importance of attentiveness to interior spiritual movements and experiences of God.

someone significant causes great pain and is often accompanied by
feelings of hopelessness and uncertainty. Listening to the language
of the body helps foster seeds of healing. Come find ways to cope
with your grief and move toward healing in the Retreat Center's
soothing environment by the Atlantic Ocean. Opportunities for Spiritual
Direction may be available.

27, 2008 The Incarnation comes. Jesus comes to teach us that we do not have to live out of our hurts. We can choose to live out of our loves, out of a willingness to love as we have first been loved. Through the lens of Resurrection we will look at our stories as they are being held lovingly in the hands of God, a God that first loved us, a God who is more merciful than we could ever imagine.
